402 Tallow Co.

402 Tallow Co. went from selling only on Facebook to a full brand identity, a working online store, and shelf space in 13 Nebraska stores.

Challenge and requirements

402 Tallow Co. had a site up on a DIY platform, but the payment setup wasn't configured correctly — taxes weren't calculating right, which is the kind of thing that quietly costs real money on every order. Fixing that led to a much bigger project: the business had grown past a logo and label designs that varied by whatever they'd found last, and needed a real brand identity to match.

Strategy and implementation

  • Corrected the Shopify payment and tax configuration using owner-approved business settings, then verified the checkout flow
  • Rebuilt the site with a full product catalog and new content
  • Designed a logo and a complete brand identity from the ground up
  • Designed over 20 product label variations across different sizes and packaging types
  • Built marketing materials for their Junkstock market debut — thank-you cards, info cards, and price signage — and worked their first sales day alongside them
  • Continue as their on-call designer for new labels whenever a product or ingredient changes

Outcome and ongoing use

402 Tallow Co. now runs a working online store instead of relying on Facebook alone, and their products are stocked in 13 stores across the Clarkson and eastern Nebraska area. What started as a payment fix turned into an ongoing partnership — JindraWebDev remains their go-to for new labels, event materials, and design support as the business grows.

The 402 Tallow Co. product range displayed on wooden rounds: face creams, honey wash pump bottles, facial serum droppers and diaper cream jars, each with a black label carrying the script logo. Four amber spray bottles of 402 Tallow Co. Bug Away insect repellent, labelled in a white apothecary style with serif capitals and a boxed ingredient panel.
“From designing labels, helping finish our website, guiding us with marketing, helping us to understand what customers want to see, … and even helping us prepare for Junkstock — she has poured so much into our business. She's one of the main reasons Junkstock was a success for us sisters. … We've referred her to so many small businesses already because when you find someone talented, trustworthy, and passionate about helping small businesses grow, you shout it from the rooftops.”
